Terms and Conditions for ZN Homestay as of February 15, 2024
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the homestay accommodation provided by ZN Homestay, located at Lot 15223, Jalan Gong Badak, 21300 Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, Malaysia, hereinafter referred to as the "Homestay".
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. To secure a booking, guests must provide valid identification and payment details.
1.2. Full payment must be made in advance to confirm the booking.
1.3. Payment methods accepted include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or any other method specified by the Homestay.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1. Cancellations made 7 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund.
2.2. Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
2.3. No-shows or early departures will be charged the full amount of the booking.
3. Check-in and Check-out
3.1. Check-in time is from 3:00 PM onwards, and check-out time is by 12:00 PM.
3.2. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Accommodation Rules
4.1. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Homestay premises.
4.2. Pets are not allowed unless prior approval has been obtained from the management.
4.3. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay.
4.4. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure the comfort of all guests.
4.5. The maximum occupancy of the Homestay is 10 guests. Any additional guests must be notified and approved by the management and may be subject to extra charges or termination of the booking.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
5.1. The Homestay will provide clean linens, towels, and toiletries upon arrival.
5.2. Guests are expected to keep the property in a clean and tidy condition during their stay, and to dispose of any garbage in the designated bins.
5.3. Guests are not required to do any deep cleaning or laundry before departure but are requested to leave the property in a reasonable state, and to report any damages or malfunctions to the management.
6. Amenities and Facilities
6.1. The Homestay offers the following amenities and facilities for the guests' convenience and enjoyment:
- All rooms are air-conditioned
- Flat-screen TV with Netflix
- Patio
- Free private parking
- Free wifi
- Fridge and stovetop
6.2. Guests are welcome to use the amenities and facilities provided but must follow the rules and instructions for their proper and safe operation.
6.3. Guests are not allowed to remove, modify, or damage any of the amenities and facilities, or to use them for any illegal or immoral purposes.
7. Safety and Security
7.1. The Homestay is equipped with basic safety and security measures, such as locks, alarms, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits.
7.2. Guests are advised to follow the safety and security guidelines provided by the management, and to exercise caution and common sense during their stay.
7.3. Guests are responsible for their own personal safety and security, and for the safety and security of their belongings.
7.4. Guests must notify the management immediately in case of any emergency, accident, injury, or damage.
8. Complaints and Feedback
8.1. The Homestay strives to provide a pleasant and satisfying experience for its guests and welcomes any feedback or suggestions for improvement.
8.2. Guests can contact the management at any time during their stay if they have any questions, concerns, or complaints, and the management will do its best to address them promptly and courteously.
8.3. Guests can also leave a review or rating for the Homestay on its website or any other platform after their stay, and the management will appreciate any positive or constructive feedback.
9. Waiver of Liability
9.1. By making a booking with the Homestay, guests agree to release the Homestay, its owners, managers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or in connection with their stay at the Homestay, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, theft, loss, inconvenience, or dissatisfaction.
9.2. Guests also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Homestay, its owners, managers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or in connection with their breach of these Terms and Conditions, their violation of any laws or regulations, or their infringement of any rights of third parties.
10. Miscellaneous
10.1. These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change without prior notice.
10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved amicably. If not possible, the dispute shall be settled under the jurisdiction of Terengganu, Malaysia.
By making a booking with the Homestay, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
